[8 of 1965]An Act to make provision for the division of the Republic into Provinces and Districts; and to provide for the boundaries of such Provinces and Districts and the names by which they shall be known.

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Provincial and District Boundaries Act.

2. Division of Zambia into Provinces and Districts

The President may, by statutory order, divide Zambia into such Provinces and divide the Provinces into such Districts, as may be convenient for the purposes of administration, describing the boundaries thereof and assigning names thereto.
